Chris Morrison Named Managing Director of Perkins+Will’s Washington, DC Office

Perkins+Will is pleased to announce that Chris Morrison, FAIA, LEED AP, Principal, has been promoted to Managing Director of its Washington, D.C. office. Chris has more than two decades of experience and brings his exemplary strengths in management and client development to this new role. Chris will be heading the office in partnership with award-winning Design Director Carl Knutson, AIA, LEED AP and they will be leading teams in local, regional, and international work.

"Chris leads with a collaborative spirit that will foster the continued growth of our Washington, D.C. office,” said Phil Harrison FAIA, LEED AP, President and CEO of Perkins+Will. “He is being tasked with directing a team of professionals who are designing some of the firm’s most important projects and we are certain that he will be very successful in carrying out this work.”

Prior to joining Perkins+Will, Morrison served as a Principal with Cunningham | Quill Architects in Washington, DC. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate at Shalom Baranes Associates and a Project Architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, both in Washington, D.C.
