Global architecture and design firm Perkins+Will announced today that its London office, Pringle Brandon Perkins+Will, is now fully integrated with the firm—a strategic development that allows clients to benefit from a unified brand with worldwide resources, reach, and expertise. With the full integration, the London practice will be referred to exclusively as Perkins+Will.
The move comes three and a half years after Pringle Brandon and Perkins+Will joined forces under a hybrid name, a partnership that spurred significant business growth for the London office. In fact, revenues at the practice have increased by over 100% since 2012, from £6.4m to £13.5m, with the office recording its best ever year last year. The team has also expanded from 82 to 163 staff. This includes the strategic appointments of internationally renowned designer Jo Palma as regional design director EMEA, hotel planning and design expert Tom Hupe as director of hospitality and Steve Henigan principal of workplace consultancy.
Growth has come from the office’s specialism in corporate interiors, the commercial architecture sector, and new urban design, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. Its regional operations have also spread, with projects underway across the UK, Europe, including Turkey and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, and the Middle East.
Managing Director Jack Pringle, along with Managing Principal Chris Brandon, the founders of Pringle Brandon, will continue to lead the practice in conjunction with a strong team of principals, including John Drew, William Poole-Wilson, Fiona Ballance, Linzi Cassels, David Green, Richard Jordan, Elad Levin, Bill Nation, Jo Palma, Kate Vine and Steve Henigan.

Perkins+Will’s London office is currently working on several major projects, including The Stage, a 2.5 acre site in Shoreditch; 150 Holborn, a 180,000-sq. ft. new corporate office; and Siemens’ 579,600-sq. ft. wind turbine production and installation assembly facilities in Hull. It has also been appointed as part of the refurbishment and development programme of the Marriott Hotel portfolio, and will design the masterplan for a major airport city in Istanbul, Turkey. Recently completed projects include the corporate interior of News UK’s 430,000-sq. ft. headquarters and KPMG’s 200,000-sq. ft. headquarters at Canary Wharf. Perkins+Will is about to embark on the final phase of the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth.
