As the Regional Healthcare Practice Leader for our Texas practice, David Collins, is an innovative principal who excels at all levels of project management and is responsible for overall aesthetic design of all healthcare projects as well as healthcare planning. David has extensive experience in all phases of architecture, having successfully delivered projects that include several complex freestanding hospitals, major hospital additions and renovations as well as medical office buildings and other non-healthcare projects such as a one million square-foot corporate headquarters. Fully versed in the intricacies of both the non-profit and for-profit hospitals, David currently works with clients from overall master planning through the design development phase. Over 25 years of industry experience coupled with projects completed in more than 30 states contribute to David's proven ability to quickly understand the unique needs of owners. His designs not only enhance the aesthetic quality of the project, but also offer the client savings through operational efficiency.
David attended Mississippi State University where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree and Columbia University where he received a Masters of Architecture. He has been a repeat adjunct professor for the Master of Architecture program at the University of Texas at Arlington.
