Transbay Terminal Improvement Plan
We were hired by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission to help achieve a difficult consensus on the Transbay Terminal project among multiple jurisdictions, agencies and transit operators – some of whom had gone to court over the project. We lead an interdisciplinary team of international architects, economists, rail engineers, transit analysts and operations specialists through numerous meetings, design charrettes, and engineering reviews, and finally achieved a consensus design for the terminal and its correlated joint development.
