This internationally-renowned design firm relocated from their suburban Evanston offices to the West Loop of Chicago. We designed a space well-suited to the collaborative, unscripted, non-linear work style and culture of IDEO. A client-facing conferencing floor, ideal for confidential meetings, is on a separate floor.
This privately owned, fast-paced financial company required a design that provided a seamless flow between business functions, including an open work area with over 240 desks, a data center, and a large IT support group. The project was designed closely with the owner, who sought a space with natural organic shapes that would create flow to uniquely integrate the firm's amenities. Employees can step away from their comfortable 120 degree desks and take advantage of a full food service area including a barista, state of the art fitness center, and spa level locker rooms.
