Cornell Community Centre Receives Multiple Design Awards

Cornell Community Centre and Library has been recognized for its design excellence, winning several recent awards. Incorporating innovative spaces and programs that combine cultural, educational and therapy functions with more traditional recreation, leisure and library services, the building offers a groundbreaking new model of service delivery and community wellness. The center includes a 25-meter, eight-lane competition pool, leisure and therapeutic pools, a fitness center with indoor track and a gymnasium. There are also multi-purpose programming spaces for youth, adults and seniors, therapeutic resources and facilities for the hospital and the Cornell Branch Library with a café and integrated medical library.
