Mary Dickinson will lead the session “LEED Hospitals: Perspectives on Cost Premiums and Operations” at the Healthcare Design Academy in Dallas, Texas. Mary will present the current state of capital cost green premiums of LEED certified hospitals based on empirical research from recently completed projects.
Friday, August 15
Ryan Gravel will present "Grassroots Cultural Change" at the Living Walls conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Living Walls is an annual conference on street art and urbanism that began in August 2010 in the city of Atlanta. Along with changing the urban landscape, the Living Walls conference set out to highlight a number of problems facing the city. Ryan will present the Atlanta Beltline project.
Monday, August 18
Abul Abdullah will present “Whole Building Energy Analysis: A Comparative Study of Different Simulation Tools and Applications in Architectural Design” as part of panel eleven at the 2014 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings Conference. The conference will take place from August 17 - 22, 2014 in Pacific Grove, California.
Wednesday, August 20
Leo Alvarez and Zan Stewart will be presenting the Louisville Botanical Gardens at the Kentucky Nursery and Landscape Association during the Louisville Nursery Association meeting in Utica, Indiana.
Thursday, August 21
Ryan Gravel will present the Atlanta Beltline project at the We are City summit in Indianapolis, Indiana. The We are City summit was established as a platform to inform and inspire people in Indianapolis (and in other cities) to improve their city.
