Architectural Record has ranked Perkins+Will No. 3 on its list of Top 300 Architecture Firms for 2016. The firm has been steadily climbing the ranks over the last three years, having held the No.5 spot in 2014 and the No. 4 spot in 2015. The rankings are based on annual revenue.
Perkins+Will CEO Phil Harrison attributes the growth of the firm, and the corollary rise in its ranking, to consistent, targeted investment in research, technology, and new markets, including retail and transportation.
“We are becoming a better firm every year. We are optimists who believe in the transformative power of design, and we are committed to continually improving our practice,” Harrison says. “As a matter of fact, we never stopped investing in our future during the economic downturn of 2008-2011, and I believe we are currently seeing the benefits of those investments.”
Additionally, Harrison notes, the firm is very focused on client experience and on continuously innovating ways to improve it.
