Robert Brown, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as a Managing Principal and the Corporate + Commercial + Civic + Culture Sector Leader for the Boston office.
With more than thirty years of experience, Brown is widely acknowledged as a key player in the New England design industry. Prior to joining Perkins+Will, he was a Principal at CBT Architects where he was involved in a series of prominent urban landmarks including 111 Huntington, the Belvedere, and the recently completed Atlantic Wharf project, Boston's first LEED Gold Certified high-rise.
Brown is a past President of the Boston Society of Architects, served on the Back Bay Architectural Commission and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino's Central Artery Competition Task Force concerning surface use of the Big Dig. Over the past 20 years, he has served as an instructor, active committee member and Trustee at the Boston Architectural College. He has also been a critic at Harvard, Northeastern, Wentworth and MIT.

Robert received a Bachelor of Architecture from Miami University of Ohio and studied at the Diploma School of the Architectural Association of London.
