SF Conservatory of Music in the NY Times

The Times published a roundup of performance spaces and concert halls around the Bay Area. The most successful one in their opinion, with "near perfect acoustics" was the main concert hall at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. This space, which reinterprets an historic ballroom as audience space and links across the seam of the old and new buildings, represents one of the most striking and imaginative elements in the facility. To have also achieved such distinction among the area's performance spaces is a triumph!
