Matt manages our Ottawa studio and is responsible for the overall service delivery to our Ottawa clients, including The Ottawa Hospital, Canadian Blood Services, and Carleton University. Throughout his career, Matt has been focused on projects for clients in the public sector. He has a high degree of sensitivity to all stakeholders in the development of complex institutional projects. Matt has had notable success in phased renewal projects including the Burke Science Building and General Science Complex at McMaster University. The LEED Silver renovation included a total gutting and fitup over 4 years with phased decanting to maintain ongoing operations.
Matt received his Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Waterloo in 1997 and followed it up with a Masters in Architecture in 2002. He serves as a mentor to intern architects and a guest studio critic in the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada Syllabus Program.
