Christopher Blackadder

IIDA
Principal, Workplace, Los Angeles

Throughout his career, Christopher has worked in large international and small boutique architectural firms—leading Interiors teams and designing spaces with a strategic understanding of people’s requirements and a dedicated focus on client needs. These skills help him achieve a unique and bespoke understanding of how people work/play/live and how they interact with space. His talents lie in understanding user requirements, building appraisal, plus space planning and definition. This translates into many sectors ranging from Workplace, Hospitality, and Residential. Over the years the development of a “design strategy” approach of concurrent strategic understanding informing the early stages of design has helped many projects achieve success. Christopher cares deeply about his team and matching their talents to particular client expectations, mentoring, and curating a successful partnership between his team and the client.
