Like many architects, Clark’s interest in architecture began at a young age. He followed this passion through high school and college, and began work on healthcare projects early in his career. Here, he fell in love with designing healthcare spaces. What drew him to healthcare – and what keeps him passionate about it after 30+ years – is the positive impact his projects have on the people they touch. From patients and their families, to the care providers committed to the people they serve, Clark works closely with them all. Creating the physical environment for compassionate care, healing, and well-being is what drives Clark every day.
A sports enthusiast, he admires the process, commitment and dedication of athletes and coaches. He sees many parallels between athletics and what goes into creating a successful architectural project: Clark is a true team player and his collaborative work style is evident in all that he does.
