D’Arcy Arthurs

OAA, NSAA, FRAIC, AIA, LEED AP
Principal, Managing Director, Ontario

A detail-oriented problem solver by nature, the craft of making drives D’Arcy’s curiosity. Whether working away at the latest renovation project at his weekend home in Georgian Bay, or collaboratively helping teams solve a challenge on site during construction, the journey of a project fuels D’Arcy’s passion for creating innovative environments for people.

Technically savvy, business-minded, naturally sociable, and a passionate negotiator, D’Arcy is a well-rounded influential leader for many within the Toronto and Ottawa studios. He provides guidance, informed by lessons learned, to clients and design teams across all practice areas. D’Arcy is directly involved in the management of our largest projects in Toronto and Ottawa.

D’Arcy enjoys spending weekends north of the city exploring the outdoors with family and friends in Muskoka, Ontario.

“A design project, from the earliest client engagement to completion, is a complex journey with many competing interests. Being able to navigate this route for clients and teams to a successful conclusion, capturing project and societal goals, is our most important role as architects”
