LEED Silver Targeted

We were hired to develop a master plan to support the rapid growth for this software developer. Phase One of the expansion included one office building with an amenities building. Both buildings are designed as high-performance buildings and the office building is registered with the US Green Building Council at the LEED Silver certification level.

The office building has a capacity of 570 employees in 118,000 gross square feet with a variety of meeting and support spaces. The amenities building serves as the new front door to campus and includes a 500-seat cafeteria and dining room, three 100-person meeting rooms, an executive briefing center and a company store.

Both buildings are designed to connect the occupants of the buildings to the landscape as it surrounds and encompasses the campus. The existing shelter belt vocabulary of the prairie landscape is referenced with strong east-west connections translating inside to architectural forms and features. The new buildings are designed to thoughtfully interact with two existing structures, each with their own unique visual character. The office building is flexible and supportive of future business growth and work process changes, while providing a healthy and environmentally responsible work place as supported by productivity gains and real cost savings.
