USG’s leadership team wanted to create a headquarters that honored the past – the pride and perseverance of the organization - and that fostered innovation, reflected quality, created a sense of energy, encouraged collaboration, and enabled productivity. Their lease expiration triggered the opportunity to: showcase USG’s building products, provide a workplace to suit their dynamic business environment, and incorporate environmentally sensitive solution.

The new headquarters occupies twelve floors and accommodates 800 employees. The typical office floor includes conference rooms, an employee coffee bar, file and storage rooms, and print/copy stations.

The conference center on the top floor acts as the main reception and conference center for the headquarters. This floor is home to the executive area, which includes offices, conference rooms, dining and kitchen areas. Additional shared spaces in the facility include a large employee café/presentation space, records center, mail/reproduction center, and data center. The project is currently under review for LEED Silver certification.
