Megan is a licensed architect with nearly 20 years of experience working on health and medical education projects, and she is currently overseeing the portfolio of one of Perkins&Will San Francisco’s largest clients. Megan has led projects both large and small, often simultaneously, and focuses on creating sustainable healing environments that encourage wellness for both patients and practitioners. She enjoys the challenges of projects and the unexpected issues and problem-solving that arise in renovation work. A great mentor, Megan develops her teams alongside her projects and establishes strong relationships with her clients.

As Project Architect for the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Megan led the design team through construction of one of the most environmentally responsive, technologically innovative, and family-focused children’s healthcare centers in North America.

Megan’s experience as both a project architect and a project manager gives her an in-depth understanding of the design, technical, and management components required to staff a wide range of architectural projects. As Director of Operations, Megan has the opportunity to apply her passion for mentorship to the larger studio and align our staff’s interests with their projects.

UCSF Nancy Friend Pritzker Department of Psychiatry Building
Located in San Francisco’s burgeoning Dogpatch neighborhood, the center houses both outpatient services and research space, bringing together clinicians and researchers from multiple disciplines to address the most pressing needs in psychiatry, psychology, and related fields. In addition to providing state-of-the-art services to Bay Area adults and children, the center is pioneering a more holistic approach to mental health that includes prevention and community outreach, the integration of pediatric and adult medicine with psychiatric care, and the development of novel and improved treatments.
