Lisa Pike
Growing up in New Zealand, Lisa was captivated by the rich relationship between people, nature and the built environment. From a young age, she wanted to be a part of shaping these densely occupied public spaces and the buildings their occupants use.
With over fifteen years of international and UK experience, Lisa has led diverse and complex projects across higher education, civic and government sectors, life sciences, and mixed-use masterplans.
Lisa’s strength lies in bringing clarity and cohesion to complex briefs, guiding teams and clients alike toward a shared vision. She leads her teams in a deeply collaborative way by marrying empathy with performance. This people-centred approach enables project teams to tackle problem-solving with design-led innovation.
Lisa’s dedication extends beyond projects. She leads a women’s knowledge-sharing network and invests deeply in mentoring, teaching, and research. She has held academic roles with Te Herenga Waka in Wellington and University College London and recently authored a paper on women’s safety in the built environment.
