Announcing New Principal and Practice Leadership in Dallas

Kristin Winters has been promoted to Principal; Ian Sinnett and Dan Eikenberry to head Healthcare and Higher Education, respectively, in the U.S. Southwest.

We’re proud to highlight three strategic leadership promotions in Dallas, elevating long-standing team members who have shaped the firm’s largest studio.

Associate Principal and Senior Project Architect Kristin Winters, who joined the Dallas team in 2014, has been promoted to Principal.

Ian Sinnett has been named Regional Practice Leader for Healthcare, succeeding David Collins, who will focus on key clients moving forward. Ian will guide the strategic direction of the healthcare practice across the Southwest region—which includes Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Latin America—and serve our clients through our studios in Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Monterrey, Mexico.

Dan Eikenberry steps into the role of Southwest Regional Practice Leader for Higher Education, overseeing the strategic growth of the practice. He succeeds Vandana Nayak, who was recently appointed Managing Director of the Dallas studio.

“It’s fantastic to see Kristin, Ian, and Dan rise in these new roles. These three have a combined tenure of 50 years with Perkins&Will. That’s 50 years of exceptional work and dedication to our clients, our people, and our purpose. These are passionate, innovative leaders in our studio, and amplifying their voices is how we keep pushing our work forward.”

Regional Healthcare Practice Leader
Ian Sinnett, AIA

Ian spearheads the development, design, and delivery of complex healthcare projects across Texas and the United States. Through more than two decades with the Dallas studio, Ian has collaborated with design teams to execute a full spectrum of healthcare projects, ranging from academic medical centers to for-profit, not-for-profit, and specialty facilities.

A graduate of Kansas State University, Ian has been recognized for his contributions to healthcare architecture, including being named one of Building Design+Construction’s 40 Under 40. His portfolio includes transformative projects such as UT Southwestern Medical Center at RedBird, an award-winning clinic that has redefined healthcare access in Southern Dallas, and the expansion of one of the nation’s busiest emergency departments in Lancaster, Pennsylvania—both projects that have significantly elevated the quality of care for their communities.

Currently, Ian serves as the Perkins&Will principal-in-charge for the groundbreaking $5 billion, 4.5 million-square-foot new pediatric campus being developed by UT Southwestern and Children’s Health, poised to become one of the most advanced pediatric healthcare facilities in the country.

“I’m incredibly proud of what our healthcare team has accomplished together since the very beginning. What’s exciting with this new role is the opportunity to build on that momentum. We are going to continue pushing the boundaries of what healthcare architecture can achieve for patients, families, and care providers.”
