Sianann Tait
Sianann’s interest in architecture began at the age of six while watching her family home extension take shape. Fascinated by how simple materials could completely transform a living environment, she quickly became drawn to the power of design and its impact on people’s lives.
That curiosity led her to study at the Glasgow School of Art, where her thesis explored a Centre for the Elderly with a dementia focus, anchoring her interest in designing for well-being. During her Part 3 studies, she contributed to an Oncology Centre during the installation of a linear accelerator; the experience strengthened her ability to navigate technically demanding briefs shaped by specialist equipment and complex user needs.
Since then, Sianann has worked on a range of challenging projects, from Nuclear Magnetic Resonance laboratories to Cryo-Electron Microscopes to Date-Palm Greenhouses in the desert; each sharpening her ability to translate intricate requirements into meaningful places.
