A year after the pandemic sent New York City into lockdown, the city is grieving the loss of more than 30,000 of its residents. Curbed asked a range of New Yorkers about the moments from the pandemic that stood out to them and how they want what that they have lost to be commemorated.
A selection of architects and artists have translated those memories into proposals for temporary installations. Jennifer Graham, a senior project manager, and principal in our NY studio collaborated with Zena Howard, managing director of our NC studio, to pay homage to the delivery workers with an installation that responds to New Yorker’s collective gratitude for these essential workers.
