Deborah’s Place creates opportunities for women who are homeless in Chicago. We have been fortunate to collaborate with them for several years through the Chicago studio’s Social Purpose committee, providing pro bono services at the organization’s three locations. Our projects with them include the community space at 2822 W. Jackson, the basement/community area at the 1530 N. Sedgwick residential facility, and the staff offices at 2501 W. Washington, all in Chicago.
On May 7 at their annual fundraiser – which was converted to a virtual event for the first time – Deborah’s Place honored our team with their 2020 Opening Doors Award. We wish to thank them for this award and look forward to future collaborations!
