Heather Currier Hunt

Chief Learning Officer

As our chief learning officer, Heather helps individuals and teams close the gap between their current skills and their aspirational goals. She designs and delivers programming on topics related to innovation, change, leadership, and belonging. As an executive coach and facilitator, she consults with studios, teams, and the business on bespoke sessions that help everyone have the conversations they need to have to achieve their full potential.

In addition to ensuring that everyone at the firm has access to shared foundational skillsets, Heather does complex interpersonal work to foster environments where team members feel empowered to share their ideas. “We’re creating the conditions for a never-ending supply of possibilities,” she says, adding that instead of avoiding or suppressing disagreement, she encourages teams to embrace the discomfort that can arise from conflict. “In a truly diverse workplace, where everyone feels they can express themselves without fear, embarrassment, or worry about making a career limiting move, you are going to have dissonance. Dissonance can be beautiful as well as catalytic.”

Design thinking informs every aspect of her work in this eminently creative role. The modern workplace poses continual challenges, from managing hybrid teams and new technologies to accommodating cultural divergence in a five-generation workforce. To ensure that she’s consistently presenting relevant, creative solutions, she constantly poses the question: What’s the need we’re designing for?

“My intention is never to solve people’s problems for them, but instead to equip others with the ability and confidence to solve their own.”
