Virginia Chiappa Nuñez

Associate Principal, New York

Virginia leads complex interior architecture projects and builds strong, collaborative client partnerships. She thrives at the intersection of creativity and strategy, guiding multiple design teams through concept development, design visioning, and presentation strategies that bring ambitious ideas to life.

Her career has taken her across the globe, to Milan, Barcelona, Dublin, Rotterdam, Beijing, and New York, and she has held leadership roles at some of the world’s most respected firms. Her international experience has sharpened her ability to navigate different cultures, design traditions, and modes of practice, giving her a uniquely global perspective that she brings to every client partnership.

Virginia’s path to architecture grew out of a lifelong fascination with problem-solving. Equally passionate about mathematics and the craft of making objects, she found architecture to be the perfect convergence of logic, creativity, and materiality.

What inspires me most is the multidisciplinary nature of design. Every project is a complex puzzle that demands curiosity, imagination, and rigor in equal measure. The real magic happens in conversation with clients, when collaboration sparks new ways of thinking.
