Chicago Studio Welcomes Yvette Fevurly Managing Principal of the Branded Environments Practice

Yvette brings more than 20 years of experience in environmental graphics programs, signage, and wayfinding across the corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and development sectors.

Yvette was most recently a Design Director leading a multidisciplinary team to create custom design experiences for some of the world’s most prominent brands. She describes her style as “hands-on,” requiring an understanding of all design aspects and appreciation of how each project offers the opportunity to improve how people interact with the space around them.

Over the years, Yvette has worked with Perkins&Will on a range of corporate projects. “I have always admired the collaboration and work environment,” she says, “and culture-wise, this is a beautiful place. I look forward to bringing the importance of brand even deeper into the day-to-day experience.”

Branded Environments Practice Leader and Design Principal Eileen Jones says Yvette’s experience and approach to design will help the studio’s work evolve, change, and continue to thrive. “We are thrilled to welcome Yvette,” she says. “She has worn many hats and fully understands the role branded environments play in enhancing the lives of our clients at work or at play.”

Among Yvette’s most memorable projects are: the Legacy Walls for KPMG* resembling an abacus and where each marker represents an employee, which have been rolled out to every KPMG office in the U.S.; signage and wayfinding for three campuses and a rebrand rollout of over 300 locations for the Indianapolis-based Community Health Network*; and, turning a brand into a sign family that could blend seamlessly with the neighborhood for The Hoxton Hotel Chicago*.

Yvette is a graduate of the University of Kansas, School of Design with a BFA in Graphic and Interior Design. She fuels her creativity by traveling to new places and immersing herself in local architecture, design, and people—always with a camera, imagining how architectural, street, and lifestyle images can inform her design.
