Ali Jumani

As the son of an Architect, Ali spent his early years surrounded by drawing boards and models. He was intrigued by the process which took an idea through to a sketch, a drawing, a model, and ultimately a building. Moving to Sydney, Australia as child, Ali’s fascination of the built environment grew as did his interest in technology’s role in influencing design and construction outcomes. This led to his pursuit of a Masters Degree in Design Computing at the University of Sydney, following his architectural education.

“I am particularly interested in architecture as a tangible solution to the issues that face societies and cultures, projects such as hospitals, schools, libraries, and museums are always the projects that excite me the most as, at their core, there are created to serve the society.”

Ali is also a keen photographer and spends much of his spare time with a camera in hand.
