Amanda Salud

Associate Principal, Operations Director, Los Angeles

Learning about the American Prairie style as a child raised in suburban Chicago instilled Amanda’s love of infinite horizons. Literal ones include the Midwest farmland she traded in for the Pacific Ocean, following her BSAS at UIUC with a Master of Architecture at UCLA.

One of several favorite buildings, Pierre Chareau’s 1932 Maison de Verre captures an inspiring ‘beginners mind’ and reflects a generative attitude she most appreciates about figurative horizons. Presently, she enjoys harnessing her inclination toward patterns and people to empower colleagues to think independently and act collectively, devising tailor-made ways of getting things done.

Having worked in a range of boutique offices, startup, and international scale firms and on an equally wide range of project types, Amanda’s evolution toward operations is a natural progression, recognizing her insatiable curiosity about the ‘how’ behind any result.
