Brandon Kent

AIA, LEED AP
Principal, Managing Director, San Francisco

A valued team player, Brandon has experience in every role on a project—from emerging designer to project designer to project manager to principal in charge. As such, he appreciates the diverse perspectives and skills that are required to bring a design to life. Believing that good teamwork is the key to success, he also advocates for highly collaborative project delivery methods like Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery, and Public Private Partnerships.

Brandon’s people-centric approach to design is the hallmark of his career. After graduating from the University of Kansas’ prestigious architecture program, where he studied the impact of the urban fabric on people’s lives, Brandon moved to Paris to intern under the acclaimed French architect Jean Nouvel. There, he came to fully understand the importance of teamwork with colleagues and clients alike; it’s an approach he took back to San Francisco and continues to lead with today.

Outside work, Brandon and his wife, Bethany, try to keep up with their son: weekends are spent hiking and playing soccer or basketball.

“People are at the heart of architecture. Everything we do, whether it is the design or the process, it’s all about the people.”

Brandon Kent, Managing Director
