As a Principal and Healthcare Practice Leader in our Washington, D.C. studio, Cindy brings more than 30 years of national and international experience. She is a tireless champion for improving healthcare operations and environments, and her passion to drive positive change has not waned over three decades of practice as a strategic leader on the owner, consultant, and A/E partner side.

Cindy has a unique aptitude for creating innovative and data-driven design concepts that align with budgets, patient and family expectations, and staff needs. Having led patient and staff advisory groups for years, she regularly shares these insights in national publications and presentations, bringing to life the voice of the health consumer to drive positive change to the healthcare experience.

Cindy is a founding member of the Washington, D.C./Baltimore chapter of Association of Medical Facilities Professionals and, while serving as a past president, embedded thought leadership into the organizational strategy.

Cindy grew up on a farm in western Illinois, where she learned early that problem-solving can involve anything from fixing a tractor to canning vegetables. It taught patience, creativity, and that a little dirt never hurt anyone.
