Dawne David-Pierre
Dawne’s work is defined by a commitment to building relationships. From an early age, she was aware of the effects of the built environment on wellbeing, particularly in dense urban settings. A desire to positively impact people’s lives through design led Dawne to a career in architecture and project management across the healthcare, education, housing, and science and technology sectors in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, and New York City.
For Dawne, leadership means practicing a growth mindset and building a culture of trust and belonging. She champions environmentally conscious design, embracing diversity and inclusion as a vital part of creating a sustainable future. Dawne is passionate about diverse representation in architecture and has held leadership roles in the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and FIRST 500, an organization that provides resources for students, practitioners and aspiring Black female architects.
