Ibrahim Ibrahim

Principal, Retail, London

A published author, speaker, and frequent contributor to the popular press, Ibrahim is a designer and futurist who guides clients to well-informed design decisions. As Managing Director of Portland Design, which joined Perkins&Will in 2015 and operates out of our London studio, he specializes in framing key trends that drive flexible, “future ready” places by facilitating strategy sessions, visioning exercises, and design workshops.

Ibrahim believes a collaborative and democratic mindset is essential when working with clients and collaborators, and he also recognizes that he has a responsibility to lead with confidence backed by rigorous research and professional insight. “When we meet prospective clients, we don’t take a portfolio,” he says. “Our design talents and experience are a given. We bring informed opinions and unique perspectives that are relevant to their world.”
