Growing up in the lush landscapes of El Salvador, Irene’s awareness of the relationship between people and their response to natural and built environments developed into a responsive approach to spatial energy, light, volume, and movement. An education in architecture grounds her holistic approach to interior design—supporting a process of discovery that focuses on engaging people and communities through experiences.

Irene brings an authentic element of warmth to her client relationships as well as her designs. Her collaborative approach emphasizes wellbeing in environments while supporting diverse work methods and lifestyles. By embracing bold solutions, her designs support innovation and dynamic growth for companies at all scales.

Driven by her interest in planning for people, Irene dedicates personal time to local professional organizations including the Executive Committee of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and the Strategic Planning Committee for Commercial Real Estate Women. She sits on the Board of Directors for Aldersgate Life Services and Generations at Shalom Park and is appointed to the Public Art Commission of Mecklenburg County.

"As designers, it is important for us to be aware of our surroundings, be compassionate, know what incites emotion in people, know what inspires them, and never lose our sense of joy."
