Jennifer Stephens

WELL AP
Principal, Denver

Jenny is the Director of Strategic Business Development in the Denver studio.

Jenny discovered the field of design through her grandmother, a concept model maker for Disney. Fascinated by the small worlds she created, Jenny quickly understood that her interests aligned with architecture. This fascination would eventually lead her to design school at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and eventually to the Denver based architectural firm Sink Combs Dethlefs (now Perkins&Will).

By the mid 90’s, Jenny’s interests began to shift towards that of a more personal and relationship driven role in marketing.  She began to focus on her ability to connect with others, strategizing and communicating with acquaintances, treating them less as clients, and more as a friend or neighbor. These ideals, as well as an abundance of industry knowledge allowed Jenny to become a key member of the Sports Architectural community. She has since given speeches on crucial topics such as; inclusivity, gender-equality, and innovation.

Both Jenny and her husband Rob are Colorado natives and in the architectural/engineering profession.

“I have always been fascinated by an individual’s personal story; where they are from, who they are, where their aspirations lie. Understanding someone’s personal intent creates a powerful connection that can parallel mutual goals.”
