Julie Frazier

AIA, ACHA, LEED AP BD+C
Principal, Health, Dallas

Julie rarely does anything without a goal in sight and a plan to achieve it. Case in point: in high school, when she first suspected that architecture might become her profession, she handwrote letters to leaders of the top-ranked local firms—a move that solidified her path.

Whether working on a project, tackling global design initiatives like sustainability and resilience, or challenging herself to a new running goal, Julie believes in working smart and consistently getting out of her comfort zone. In each of these endeavors, but especially when designing the healthcare environments that deeply impact so many lives, she’s driven by research, metrics, and the belief in continual improvement.

“In order to grow, you have to get outside of your comfort zone. We get really good at what we’re doing, but if we stop there we’ll be in the same place for the rest of our lives. It’s all about determination and will.”
