Masahiro Katsume

Over the course of Masahiro Katsume’s 18-year tenure at Schmidt Hammer Lassen, he has managed a variety of international projects in Europe and China, often in the housing, office, and mixed/use sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Masahiro spent 20 years in leadership roles at a prominent architectural firm in Japan. He has a way with the pen, sketching – often enhanced with watercolors – to communicate ideas and bring projects to life. The long list of built projects in his portfolio are dotted across 14 countries, and his breadth and depth of experience spans typologies, scales, and project phases.
