Phaedra Svec
Phaedra is an architect, mentor, systems planner, expert facilitator, and Director of Regenerative Design with Perkins&Will. She focuses the firm’s work toward regenerative design and development. An LFA, and LEED Accredited Professional since the earliest version of the exam, Phaedra has expertise in energy, water and comfort systems integration, high performance building systems, biophilia, biomimicry and infrastructure design. She guides LEED, WELL & LBC design integration and policy implementation as well as healthy materials selection and specification.
With over 28 years of experience in architecture and the sustainable design movement she is a trusted advisor to a Fortune 10 company for developing a regenerative design vision and implementation program for over 200 facilities worldwide, including guidance for procurement of building materials. Phaedra led a BlueSky Energy visioning team for a Top 15 University campus plan. She facilitated Drawdown consulting for an aeronautics manufacturer and worked with the Seattle Public School district to develop a vision and implementation plan for Net-positive carbon performance across 109 facilities.
