Sarah Laurisch

BA(Hons)
Workplace, London

Sarah is a senior associate and interior designer in our London studio.

Born in Brussels, Sarah grew up surrounded by creativity. Her family, always building, painting, and crafting, inspired a love for art from an early age. This early influence led her to pursue an art foundation course in Canterbury, which evolved into a passion for interior design during her studies in Edinburgh.

Sarah began her career designing high-end residential projects in London before transitioning into corporate interiors, where she found particular fulfilment through building meaningful client relationships. Her diverse portfolio spans projects for leading financial, legal, and professional services firms, as well as healthcare and education institutions. She excels at managing complex design processes and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams. Her keen eye for detail, creative problem-solving skills, and deep understanding of client needs makes her an invaluable asset to any project team.

For Sarah, it’s about collaboration, trust, and bringing ideas to life. She thrives when organising teams, managing technical details, and ensuring the vision becomes reality. One of her most rewarding projects was a law firm in Bishopsgate-offering complex challenges that involved balancing multiple stakeholders, tight logistics, and the added challenge of COVID-19. But with a great team and a flair for creative problem solving, the project came together successfully, reinforcing her belief in the power of collaboration.

Sustainability is a key driver in Sarah’s work. Joining Perkins&Will was a conscious decision to be part of a firm that pushes boundaries in responsible design. She believes that great spaces come from innovation, not just following guidelines, and she is committed to making a lasting impact.

Fun fact:

Outside of work, Sarah finds inspiration in her daughter, discovering the world through her eyes. She loves the outdoors, crafting, and the satisfaction of creating something by hand—whether it’s knitting, sewing, or designing her next home project!
