Shivani Langer
Shivani’s childhood was shaped by frequent moves across India, following her parent’s career from city to city every two years. Living in so many different places gave her an early appreciation for the powerful role architecture plays in everyday life. This understanding inspired her to pursue architecture, with the intention of contributing to the design of spaces where people thrive and flourish.
While working in India on projects within communities that relied primarily on passive strategies to endure intense climatic conditions, Shivani developed a strong interest in climate-responsive architecture, which led her to pursue a master’s degree in sustainable design. Since then, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, adaptability, and impact through her dual roles as an architect and sustainability leader. Her work reflects a rare ability to mentor and help integrate design excellence, technical rigor, and regenerative thinking, resulting in meaningful and lasting value for clients and the broader community.
Outside the office, Shivani loves watching Longhorn football with her husband and two daughters, especially attending home games at DKR Stadium. She also loves hiking and jogging with friends, as well as cooking and hosting at home.
