Tom Leung

OAA, LEED AP BD+C
Transportation, Ottawa

Tom leads transportation for our Ottawa and Toronto studios, bringing more than 30 years of experience delivering complex, city-shaping infrastructure. Over half his career has been dedicated to transit projects, where his work is driven by mass transit’s ability to integrate communities, shape the public realm, and support sustainable urban growth. He has played key leadership roles on landmark projects including Ottawa’s O-Train LRT and Toronto’s Eglinton Crosstown West Extension, contributing to the realization of resilient, people‑centred transit environments.

Originally from Ottawa, Tom is deeply committed to advancing contemporary city-building around transit investment. His approach balances design rigor, meticulous detailing, and effective project management. Extending his belief in architecture as a social art, Tom also gives back to the profession as a sessional design professor at Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism.
