Trevor Abramson

FAIA
Principal, Managing Director, Los Angeles

Trevor crafts emotionally and spiritually resonant spaces that evoke deeply felt connections. His work is distinguished by its balance of simplicity and refinement, employing subtle massing, thoughtful use of material and light, and a modernist restraint that aims for timelessness. He’s pragmatic and purposeful, employing stripped-down shapes to allow mass and material to govern.

As managing director of our SoCal practice, which encompasses our Los Angeles and San Diego studios, Trevor leads by example. He engages with clients by listening closely and responding promptly, and he expects the same from his team. “Integrity is everything,” he says. “If you make a promise, be sure to deliver on it.” His consistency strengthens the practice and helps our clients feel heard, supported, and confident that they’re in capable hands.

Trevor’s multi-faceted career spans more than three decades and encompasses educational facilities, residential commissions, and commercial buildings.

I approach each project as a problem-solver. I take the time to truly listen and understand not only the functional needs, but the underlying aspirations.
