Wilfredo Rodriguez-Joglar

AIA
Associate Principal, New York

Wilfredo leads teams with vision, creativity, and a deeply human-centered approach to design. Originally from Puerto Rico, his warm, community-driven ethos influences everything he creates. He believes architecture has the power to shape belonging and connectedness, and he strives to design spaces that feel authentic, honest, and alive with culture.

Wilfredo has successfully led and managed key projects, including the Equinox Headquarters at Hudson Yards, Under Armour’s flagship retail experience, PENN 1 for Vornado, and Southbank for Lendlease. His passion for designing spaces that foster connection is also reflected in one of his favorite projects: a pro bono learning center in Senegal for “Students for Senegal.”

Finding creativity and connection in movement and community, Wilfredo is a lifelong practitioner of capoeira, in which martial arts, culture, and music combine to provide the same blend of energy that attracted him to architecture.

The best spaces are the ones you don’t just see—you feel. They stay with you long after you leave.

fun fact

Wilfredo’s journey has been anything but static. He surfed daily back in Puerto Rico, is fluent in three languages, and had long, flowing hair until New York City living inspired a sleeker, more aerodynamic look.
