Bell MTS Place

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
A Big Score for Downtown Winnipeg

As part of a plan to revitalize downtown Winnipeg, city leaders turned to us to design a multi-purpose arena that could host athletic events, concerts, and symposiums. In response, we created a dynamic downtown hub that supports myriad activities for city residents and visitors—even when there’s no major event in town.

A few years later, when the Winnipeg Jets returned to the city, we came back to modernize nearly every square inch of the complex. We led a full makeover of the existing concourses, suites, team stores, restrooms, concessions, bars, restaurants and grand atrium. We also added new bars, restrooms, stores, seating, and video boards.

Today, Bell MTS Place is a sleek, modern, and vibrant urban destination that far exceeds the standards set by its peers in the NHL while providing an unmatched spectator and visitor experience.

A Transformative Community

Over the last dozen years, Bell / MTS Centre has grown into a high energy gathering place for concert & sports fans alike.  It has brought the community together to rally behind their hockey team and heighten their Manitoban (True North) pride.
