The Vistria Group
The Vistria Group, a private investment firm that invests in healthcare, educational and financial services companies partnered with Perkins&Will through their growth and relocations within the Blue Cross Blue Shield building since 2013. In Chicago, the firm’s growth required them to expand onto a full floor and occupy the full 40,000sf. Our client desired a collaborative environment reflective of their company culture, which embraces diverse perspectives and maintains a welcoming atmosphere for their clients.
Perkins&Will provided an extension of their workplace that supported their company culture and expressed their brand values while providing a higher level of quality and sophistication. The office offers abundant options for focused work, small team gatherings, and provides ample conference facilities to host meetings in a central location. The design includes the use of beautiful materiality, transparent glass throughout, and a stunning art collection, The effect is an understated and enduring space, complemented by minimalist details and soft materiality.
The artwork highlights bronze-plated shoes, representing each Partner’s inspiration in life, including the shoes of their grandmother, teacher, coach or any figure in their life that made a difference for them.
