Architecture and design firm Perkins&Will has opened a studio in Philadelphia. A strategic addition to the firm’s global network, the new studio will enhance Perkins&Will’s regional practice in the Northeastern U.S. and extend its integrated design services to clients in Philadelphia and the surrounding region, including western and central Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey.
“We’re thrilled to officially launch our Philadelphia practice, joining many of the nation’s leading businesses, medical centers, and higher-education institutions,” says Bill Harris, regional managing director at Perkins&Will. “We already have deep ties to this incredible city, with substantive work already complete, and a slate of significant new projects underway. With the new studio, we can continue to build on our record of accomplishment in Philadelphia and formalize a relationship that has been decades in the making.”
Leadership of the Perkins&Will Philadelphia studio will include Harris; managing director Robert Clemens; and health practice leader Laura Morris. The local Philadelphia practices will closely collaborate with Northeast regional teams in New York, Boston and Washington, D.C., and will leverage the firm’s global expertise to respond to the unique design challenges faced by clients in the greater Philadelphia area.
