James Puckhaber

A pivotal moment for James was returning to his hometown of Atlanta from New York City after being away for 20 years. He felt like he had stepped into a new world, with the Atlanta Beltline and vibrant new developments transforming the city he thought he knew. Over the past 10 years since that return, James has been fortunate to work with forward-looking commercial clients to create buildings that contribute to Atlanta’s positive trajectory.

With nearly 30 years of experience in architecture across a range of roles and project types, James has a special affinity for creatively designed office buildings, championing designs that prioritize the human experience. For him, the key question in design is always: “Do I want to be there?”
