Amanda Hertzler

NCIDQ, ASID
Principal, Design Principal, Miami

Amanda leads the interior design practice in our Miami studio and is a lifelong curator of space. Trained as an interior designer but immersed in architectural environments throughout her career, she works across disciplines to create spatial solutions informed by human behavior. She brings a global perspective and deep expertise across a range of typologies, including retail, hospitality, multifamily residential, and workplace design.

Amanda’s process begins with spatial analysis to uncover the inherent potential of form and geometry before determining the interior logic and layering in functional spaces and emotional intention.

“I strive to create environments that invite dialogue,” she says. “Spaces where people hear not only the design, but themselves.”

Amanda thrives in integrated project teams, where she contributes from the earliest design stages to ensure that architecture and interiors develop in tandem.

"I’m drawn to the profound dialogue between human consciousness and the spaces we inhabit—how environments shape emotion and gently sculpt the contours of our behavior. "
fun fact

Amanda grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a small town surrounded by farms. Although now an urbanite who has lived in New York, Paris, Washington D.C., and Miami, she still rides horses every weekend and spends most of her free time in nature.
