James Phillips
James Phillips is a licensed landscape architect and Project Manager with deep expertise in South Florida’s native ecologies and urban systems. He brings a thoughtful, site-responsive approach to shaping resilient, people-centered public spaces.
Based in our Miami studio, James served as Project Manager for the transformational Huizenga Park redevelopment in downtown Fort Lauderdale, leading coordination across disciplines, stakeholders, and the City. He is also a core landscape architect on the Jacksonville Northbank Riverwalk Park project, supporting the design and implementation of a vibrant, ecologically rich waterfront destination.
Grounded in native plant communities, coastal resilience, and public realm design, James integrates natural systems with human experience to create enduring, inclusive places.
