Wes Bowen
In a middle school class, Wes was asked to draw a house. He got home and immediately began taking measurements, sketching every detail. He liked it so much he started sketching freehand on weekends, and a hobby became a career.
Meticulous by nature, Wes loves the technical complexity of healthcare projects. If you can design a hospital, he says, you can design anything. After more than two decades designing and managing these projects from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, he’s still excited by a technical challenge, but the work’s positive impact on its community is what he finds most rewarding. That and the people. As senior project manager, he’s found a deep appreciation for working directly with clients, and he’s known for building enduring collaborative relationships.
Outside of work, Wes and his wife, who’s also an architect, have two sons, a cat, and a running list of home renovation projects. And he still sketches on the weekends.
