Growing up within an artistic family, creativity was a staple of Linzi’s childhood. As a young girl she loved sketching fashion designs and attending drawing classes at Glasgow School of Art.

Inspired by Mackintosh’s iconic building, she went on to study architecture at the Mac (Mackintosh School of Architecture). Post qualification, she continued her passion for art completing a degree in Fine Art from Central St. Martins School of Art and Design in London.

An active member of our Design Leadership Council, she continually pushes for design excellence across the firm. She strives to always put people first, listening and interpreting clients’ needs to create meaningful and engaging spaces.

Linzi loves to integrate her passions for art and architecture and relishes going to art galleries in London and when she travels.

“I am passionate about the power of architecture and interior design to influence and enrich the experience of the people that use the spaces around us. I am excited to have played a part in the workplace design revolution which had taken place over recent years and the recognition that good design can improve not only an individual’s productivity, but also enhance their well-being and experience of work. I find it fascinating to see what makes individuals and businesses tick and translating aspirations into built space which fires the imagination, inspires, and gives a shared sense of purpose and community.”

Linzi is a long-standing and passionate advocate for representation and parity for women in architecture and design.
She wrote with outrage to the Architects Journal 30 years ago complaining about the way in which the magazine had represented women architects. Her determination to make a difference means that mentoring and encouraging young women is a priority.
