As the co-leader of Urban Design for Perkins&Will, Cassie plays an essential role in both the Atlanta studio and a firmwide discipline. Cassie designs for the human experience at the human scale, bringing together her expertise in the fields of interior design, architecture, city planning, and graphic design. With every client, she works closely to balance experiment and innovation with making the critical decisions that keep progress in step with reality.
A connector of people, and a solver of puzzles, Katie weaves together the best solutions for our healthcare practice’s most complex projects. As a dynamic leader and mentor, Katie builds solid foundations with both her team and clients. Every day, she strives to create welcoming spaces and caters to producing work that makes users feel a sense of calm as one walks in through the front doors.
A studio leader in the firm’s Higher Education and Science & Technology disciplines, Floyd balances both the complexities of highly industrial labs with enticing learning environments. As the Atlanta studio’s Justice, Equity, Engagement, Diversity, and Inclusion (J.E.D.I.) co-Leader, he understands the importance of creating a just world and the impact it entails in the design industry. His proudest accomplishments involve community engagement both in and around his projects.
A natural-born storyteller, Katie is guided in her design practice by understanding the journey of our clients and capturing the essence of each new challenge. Her aptitude in deciphering the chapters of each project makes her an essential member of the Branded Environments team. Having co-founded the practice in the Atlanta studio, Katie has touched a wide range of disciplines across the firm and thrives on mentoring the next generation of designers.
